Class Project: Updating a website and developing a new product - 2025

A project where in a group of two, we analyzed a brand and updated their website in accordance to design rules and accessibility. later on developing a new digital product for the brand individually.

The Solution

To update the brand website to include ecommerce, we analyzed a brand research that was done by a research team. We took this document and developed key features that needed to be updated.

Analyzing the existing website

The existing website at the time of this project had many accessibility issues. As well as some sizing and readability concerns

The changes that were made

Our updates consisted of: Homepage reordering, asset resizing, color corrections to fit color contrast readability rules, and adding essential elements for a flawless ecommerce experience (including a check out flow), and more detailed product detail pages.

Project part 2: Ideation of a new digital product for the barnd

After the update has been completed to satisfaction, each teammate went their separate ways to [pitch and idea to the “brand stakeholders”.
